Refuse Bin Lifts
The opportunity for customers to specify LinkTip Bin Lift Systems on a wide range of specialist bodies is an excellent example of hard-won engineering experience in action. Not content with the types of proprietary bin lifts available elsewhere many of which were not in any event suitable for operation with vehicles in lower weight classes. LinkTip designers and engineers set about producing an in-house solution based on a firm background and understanding of customer's operational needs. The end result is a versatile hydraulic bin lifter range that can be mounted on just about any LCV or truck chassis for either side or end loading - or both. With a handling capacity ranging from 120 to 1280 litres, it follows that the LinkTip Bin Lifter range has a version to suit each type of LinkTip RCV body.
In addition to standard applications such as the LinkTip Refu-hood' and Crownhood (Chelsea and Derby type) side loaders, LinkTip bin lifters can be specified on the new high capacity Micropack and Linkpacka ejector plate compression refuse collection vehicle range, with models from 3.5 to 14.0 tonnes GVW. Hydraulic bin lifters can also be specified on more specialist units utilising the LinkTip GLD (Ground Level Demountable) system, or the scissor-action high tipping discharge Freightermate range of bodies, designed for unload directly into skips or larger REL vehicles. In fact, LinkTip bin lifters are so versatile and easy to use, they can be used as simple lorry loaders for bulk materials on standard tippers as a simple and cost-effective solution to EC manual loading lifting limits.
