LinkTip have over recent years developed a range of vehicle body designs to suit both kerbside and 'bring centre' recycling operations. We have listened to what our customers demand of their vehicles and have worked with the operators to understand how the vehicles need to perform whilst in operation.
From our experience we know what will work well and what will not when put onto a particular operation and from this viewpoint we believe that it is better to design the vehicle to suit the operation rather than alter the operation to suit the vehicle.
We have gained considerable experience in the field of recycling vehicle design not just from our customers but also from our experience in designing specialist refuse collection equipment over the past twenty years.
LinkTip can now offer recycling vehicle designs ranging from single compartment bodies with both mechanical and manual loading systems, multi-compartment bodies with multiple binlift equipment and stillage type multi-fraction collection bodies.
We also have the ability to produce specialist body designs which may utilise design elements from any of the standard designs to meet specific requirements, such as the flexibility of stillage type collection with mechanical loading systems for high volume materials such as plastics or cans.
In addition we can adapt our existing refuse collection equipment to meet the demands of recycling operations. For example we can supply our range of HEW Bantam and Compact RCV bodies and our side loading LinkPacka RCV with additional chassis mounted compartments for paper, plastics or can collection.
We believe that the vehicle should be designed and built with maximum operational flexibility to enable the operator to meet the changing demands that recycling operations will present. Wherever possible the individual compartments in a multi-compartment body are designed to be suitable for the collection of different materials, from paper and cans through to plastics and glass. The capacity of each compartment can also be designed to be variable according to the material type and socio-economic factors, which may see fluctuations in the collection of certain materials such as glass and paper.
LinkTip not only design and build the bodywork but have developed a successful range of binlift equipment which can operate with either single 120-360 litre wheeled bins or larger 120-1280 litre containers. In addition the binlifts can be specified with detachable collection 'pods' which enable the same vehicle to be used for 'blue box' or wheeled bin operations.
We have also manufactured dedicated recycling bodies to be operated with a ground level demountable system for both 'bring centre' operations and kerbside applications. Our range of ground level demountable equipment is suited to most 3.5 - 32.0t GVW chassis and is designed to operate with body lengths ranging from 3.0M to 6.0M.
We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your recycling requirements in the future built on our experience for versatile design, robust build and dedicated after-sales support.
